La página "Módulos" bajo el menú "Módulos" le da acceso al listado de módulos. En esta página puede instalar, desinstalar y configurar cada módulo. Todos los módulos nativos son explicados en profundidad en el capítulo "Trabajar con los módulos nativos". En este capítulo tan sólo se explica cómo funciona la página Módulos.
Bajo la página del título, encontrará en algunas ocasiones notificaciones de los módulos instalados. La mayoría de las veces, la notificación ayudará a completar la configuración de los módulos que están instalados, pero que aún no están listos para ser utilizados: al actualizar su configuración la notificación desaparecerá... y su módulo funcionará correctamente por lo que podrá utilizarlo desde ese mismo instante en su tienda.
Cuando algunos de sus módulos tiene una actualización disponible en el sitio de Complementos (Addons), PrestaShop le informará de ello, y un botón "Actualizar todo" aparecerá en la parte superior de la página. Haga clic en este botón para actualizar todos ellos.
Por encima de la tabla de módulos hay dos botones, titulados "Vista normal" y "Vista favoritos". Ellos cambian radicalmente la forma en que los módulos son listados.
Esta le permite encontrar rápidamente el módulo que desea instalar, así como cambiar los ajusted de configuración del mismo.
En la primera sección, puede buscar un módulo específico, o filtrar los módulos hasta encontrar el que desea.
On the left is a list of all the module categories, with the number of modules for each in brackets. Click on a category in order to display the modules for this category.
One of the categories is named "Favorites" and is empty by default. This enables you to gather the modules you most often use, and to access them quickly. You can set your favorite modules using the "Mark as Favorite" action.
Modules can have one of 4 statuses:
Some module have a "Popular" badge. This modules are actually from the Addons website. They are not free: the "Install" button is replaced by a shopping cart button, with the price of the module. Clicking that button open the module's page on the Addons website, where you can buy the module.
When you do not have a use for a module anymore, you can either disable or uninstall it. The results of both actions are seemingly the same: the module is not available anymore, its options do not appear in your back-office and any element it added to your front-end have disappeared. The difference is that disabling a module keeps its configuration safe for later re-enabling, while uninstalling it removes all of its configuration and database data. Therefore, you should only uninstall a module if you do not care about its data or if you are certain that you would not need it. If you are really sure you do not want that module on your shop, you can even click on its "Delete" link. |
Here are the available actions, depending on the module's status:
Top ranking modules from Addons can be promoted to your module list, depending on your country settings. They appear among regular modules, but their action buttons are not labeled "Install" but instead "30 €", for instance. Clicking on the button takes you to the module's Addons page, from which you can log in, buy and download the module. From there on, you can install it on your shop. |
In the basic configuration, the modules' page will only let you update the default modules, the ones that were included in PrestaShop. If you have bought modules on Addons, the PrestaShop marketplace, and you want those to update automatically too, you have to connect your PrestaShop to Addons.
Click on the "Addons" link at the top of the screen: this will open a model window with a log in form. Simply fill in the form with your Addons connection details, and PrestaShop will now know (and update) the modules you have bought. Click on the "Addons" again, and it will display your account login.

If the modules you have bought on Addons are not updating, do check that you are connected through this form!
