Configuración avanzada del tema
Haga clic en el botón "Ajustes avanzados" para visualizar la información principal del tema (véase más abajo la sección "Creating a brand new theme" section below to find an explanation of the fields para obtener una detallada explicación de los campos).
Below the main section, the "Appearance of columns" section displays a lot of information about the way the left and right columns appear, depending on the page:
- If the box is checked, the column appears in the page (for instance, the Category page).
- If it is left unchecked, it will not appear on that page.
Note that even if you can click on the buttons at will, these settings are only informational, and the theme will not necessarily be able to adapt to your changes!
Select a theme for your "[name]" shop
This section is only display if you have at least two themes installed. It presents you with the other available themes on your PrestaShop installation beside the already-enabled one.
This section simply shows the thumbnails of the available themes, with their names.
Move your mouse cursor over the thumbnail to display a menu with two options:
- Use this theme. This will replace your current theme with this theme.
- Delete this theme. This will delete this theme's files from your web server.
At the top right, the "Visit the theme store" opens a new page to the PrestaShop Addons marketplace, where you can find more themes.

Adding and exporting a theme
Two buttons at the top of the screen enable you to import a theme and install it (and its attached modules), or to export a theme and its modules from your shop in order to share it with the world.
Importing a theme: the "Add new theme" button
This screen presents you with 3 methods to install a new theme: from your computer, from a public website, or from your own FTP server. A final button leads you to the theme creation form, presented in the next section.
Whatever the method, the process remains the same: indicate the location of the theme's Zip archive, then click "Save". The only thing that changes is the source of the Zip file:

Debajo de la sección principal, la sección "Apariencia de las columnas" muestra una gran cantidad de información sobre la forma en que aparecen las columnas izquierda y derecha, dependiendo de la página en la que nos encontremos:
- Si la casilla está marcada, la columna aparece en la página (por ejemplo, la página Categoría).
- Si se deja desmarcada, no aparecerá en esa página.

Seleccionar un tema para la tienda <nombre>
Esta sección tan sólo se muestra en pantalla si tiene al menos dos temas instalados. Estos se presentan junto con los otros temas disponibles en la instalación de PrestaShop estando por defecto uno de ellos ya habilitado.
Esta sección simplemente le muestra las miniaturas de los temas disponibles, junto con sus nombres.
Establezca el cursor del ratón sobre la miniatura para mostrar un menú con dos opciones:
- Utilizar este tema. Reemplazará su tema actual por este tema.
- Eliminar este tema. Se eliminarán los archivos del tema de su servidor.
En la parte superior derecha, el enlace "Visite la tienda de temas" abre una nueva página del mercado PrestaShop Addons, donde puede encontrar más temas.

Adición y exportación de un tema
Dos botones en la parte superior de la pantalla le permiten importar un tema e instalarlo (y adjuntar sus módulos), o exportar un tema y sus módulos de su tienda con el fin de compartirlo con el mundo.
Importar un tema: el botón "Añadir tema"
Esta pantalla le presenta 3 métodos que puede utilizar para instalar un nuevo tema: desde su computadora, a partir de un sitio web público, o desde su propio servidor FTP. Un último botón le lleva al formulario de creación de temas, presentado en la siguiente sección.
Sea cual sea el método, el proceso sigue siendo el mismo: indicar la ubicación del archivo Zip del tema, y a continuación, hacer clic en "Guardar". Lo única cosa que cambia es el origen desde el que cargamos el archivo Zip:
- Importar desde su computadora. Utilice el explorador de archivos para encontrar el archivo.
- Importar desde una web pública. Indique la dirección URL pública directa del archivo.
- Importar utilizando su servidor FTP. Utilizando su cliente FTP, cargue el archivo en la carpeta :
/themes/.
Click "Save" to validate your choice. The theme is now installed, and PrestaShop asks you if you wish to install modules that were imported along with the theme, what you would rather do with the current modules configuration, and how you would like the images configuration to be taken into account.
