Database Cleaner

This module is very useful when you are done exploring PrestaShop for the first time, and you are ready to start adding your own content: you must first remove all the demo data that was installed along with PrestaShop: products, categories, client, orders, etc.

The configuration page has three sections:

  • Catalog. This will erase all the data from the current catalog, even the items that you added yourself. Check the box and click the "Delete catalog" button to start the process.
  • Orders and customers. This will erase all the currently registered orders and clients, even the ones that you created yourself. Check the box and click the "Delete catalog" button to start the process.
  • Functional integrity constraints. This will check your database and make sure that everything is correctly set, and will try to fix what is not.
  • Database cleaning. This will help reduce storage space and improve disk access efficiency.

Be very careful: any action triggered by clicking on one of these buttons is irremediable. Be sure to have a fresh backup of your database available first.

Email alerts

PrestaShop enables you to alert you and your clients by e-mail in certain cases:

  • Your clients: when a product is out of stock.
  • You: when a new order is placed in your shop.
  • You: when a product's stock is below a certain threshold. 
  • You: when a product's coverage is below a certain number of days.

Customer notifications

There is only one setting in this section:

  • Product Availability. When you enable this setting, a field appears on the product page of your shop when the product is out of stock. It asks your customers to leave their contact information so that they may be contacted when you shop will have this product back in stock.

Merchant notifications

There are several settings for merchants:

  • New order. Enable this setting if you wish to be alerted of each new order
  • Out of stock. Enable this setting and set the "Threshold" field with the value at which you wish to be alerted (default is 3).
  • Coverage warning. Enable this setting and set the "Coverage field with the value at which you wish to be alerted (default is 0).

Merchant mail alerts can be sent to multiple addresses at the same time. To do so, list each e-mail address that will receive the notification (one e-mail address per line).

Google Analytics API

This module enables you to tie your PrestaShop store with your Google Analytics account.

First, you must choose the API version you want to use:

  • The 1.3 version will require you to enter your Google Analytics e-mail, password and profile.
  • The 3.0 version will require you to enter your Google Analytics Client ID, Client Secret and profile.

Limpiador de Prestashop

Este módulo le será de mucha utilidad cuando haya terminado de explorar PrestaShop por primera vez, y se encuentre listo para comenzar a añadir su propio contenido: antes de nada deberá eliminar todos los datos inventados que vienen incluidos de demostración junto con la instalación de Prestashop: productos, categorías, cliente, pedidos, etc.

La página de configuración consta de tres secciones:

  • Catálogo. Esta acción eliminará todos los datos de su catálogo actual, incluso los artículos que haya añadido usted mismo. Haga clic en la opción "Sí" y a continuación presione el botón "Borrar catálogo"  para iniciar el proceso.
  • Pedidos y clientes. Esta acción borrará todos los pedidos y clientes registrados actualmente, incluso los que haya creado usted mismo. Haga clic en la opción "Sí" y a continuación presione el botón "Borrar pedidos y clientes" para iniciar el proceso.
  • Restricciones de integridad funcional. Esta acción revisará su base de datos y se asegurará de que todo está configurado correctamente, tratando de arreglar lo que no lo esté .
  • Limpieza de la base de datos. Esto ayudará a reducir el espacio de almacenamiento y mejorará la eficiencia de acceso a disco.

Tenga mucho cuidado: cualquier acción desencadenada por hacer clic en uno de estos botones es irremediable. Asegúrese de realizar una copia de seguridad de su base de datos antes de utilizar algunos de estos botones.

Alertas por correo

PrestaShop le permite recibir alertas por correo electrónico, y enviar notificaciones a sus clientes, en ciertas situaciones:

  • A sus clientes: cuando un producto está fuera de stock.
  • A usted: cuando un nuevo pedido se haya producido en su tienda.
  • A usted: cuando el stockaje de un producto está por debajo del umbral.
  • A usted: cuando la cobertura de un producto está por debajo de un cierto número de días.

Notificaciones de cliente

Sólo hay un ajuste de configuración en esta sección:

  • Disponibilidad del producto. Cuando se habilita esta configuración, un campo aparecerá en la página del producto de su tienda cuando éste se encuentre fuera de stock. Se invitará a sus clientes a que dejen sus datos de contacto para que puedan ser contactados cuando vuelvan a ver unidades de este producto disponibles para su venta.

Notificaciones del comerciante

Hay varias opciones de configuración para las notificaciones a comerciantes:

  • Nuevo pedido. Active esta opción si desea recibir una notificación cada vez que se produzca un nuevo pedido. 
  • Agotado (Fuera de stock). Active esta opción y establezca el campo "Umbral" con el valor en el que desea ser alertado (por defecto es 3).
  • Advertencia de cobertura. Active esta opción y establezca el campo "Cobertura" con el valor en el que desea ser alertado (por defecto es 0).

Las Notificaciones del comerciante pueden ser enviadas a varias direcciones al mismo tiempo. Para ello, escriba en la opción denominada "Direcciones de e-mail", cada dirección de correo electrónico que recibirá la notificación (una dirección de correo electrónico por línea). Para desplazarse a la línea siguiente, pulse la tecla Enter de su teclado).

Google Analytics API

Este módulo le permite vincular su tienda PrestaShop con su cuenta de Google Analytics.

En primer lugar, deberá elegir la versión de la API que desea utilizar:

  • La versión 1.3 requerirá que introduzca los datos e-mail, contraseña y Perfil ID de su cuenta en Google Analytics.
  • La versión 3.0 requerirá que introduzca los datos Client ID, Client Secret y Perfil ID de su cuenta en Google Analytics.

Le recomendamos que utilice la versión 3.0, ya que la versión 1.3 se considera obsoleta y menos segura. Para poder trabajar con la versión 3.0, debe autorizar el acceso para OAuth siguiendo estas instrucciones: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/config/mgmt/v3/mgmtAuthorization
